Make it to Market – business advice
Plus, we will host the
Semi finals of the Pretty Nostalgic and Clothes Show live 
Customised party Outfit Competition

This unique event will be a collaboration of many wonderful and passionate businesses and individuals. Visitor numbers will be limited and the day will be filled with all sorts of inspiration, advice and the makings of a jolly good time – this is your chance to meet the Pretty Nostalgic team and many of the wonderful people who have contributed or have been featured in the magazine.  In this event you will get the chance to listen to the stories behind many Brilliant British businesses, the motivations which launched exciting vintage enterprises and in our ‘Make it to Market area’ there will be lots of practical advice and support for future and current entrepreneurs of the British made and vintage world. Be inspired to learn new traditional crafts, vintage dance steps, have a go at creative methods for making and upcycling, watch vintage entertainers, chat to and learn from all sorts of crafters, service providers, and owners of British businesses of all sizes.  The day will be filled with talks, workshops, demonstrations and advice sessions given by in successful individials and companies who have chosen to keep things British, traditional and sustainable.
Tickets can be purchased in advance and will go on sale on our website and will be sold at the Buy British Day (26th October). Entry numbers strictly limited.   


These will last about 20 minutes to half and hour and are meant to be a taster to inspire others into business, creative hobbies, organic, cooking and the like. We are also happy for you to promote any workshops or classes you may run, or to simply share your passion with others. You will also receive:
